Villa Castalie lies in the bay of St. Tropez, within walking distance of the coastal resort ‘Les Issambres’. Only 150m from the sea, there are many terraces from which you can enjoy the fantastic sea views. The beautiful swimming pool also has its own terrace, and an outdoor kitchen. The villa is suitable for max 10 people. Perfect for families who want to enjoy the seaside together!

Within

Castalie’s living quarters face completely to the South. The living room is on the left hand side, and above in the tower is the ‘mezzanine’. Here you will find a bedroom with two single beds, which can be moved together. On the right are the sleeping quarters with three bedrooms, one with a double bed, and the other two with two single beds, which can be moved together. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath. Below the living - at pool level - is 1 other bedroom available for tenants with a double bed and bathroom. There is also a washing machine, dryer and a child’s bed.

The kitchen is fully fitted, including dishwasher 6 gas rings, a large fan oven, a microwave and of course a large American fridge with freezer compartment and ice cube maker. There are good pans and plenty of cutlery and ware. There is room for eight people to dine together.

Outside

There is a covered terrace joined onto the kitchen, facing the western horizon, with the entrance and parking space for 2-3 cars in the background. The terrace has a 3.5 m long table, perfect for evening dining, and a loungeset with 1 sofa and 2 chairs in the corner, where you can watch the fishermen heading out to see over a cup of coffee as the sun comes up.

The beautiful, landscaped garden has an automatic watering system. There are many palms, peppertrees, cork oaks and lots of large oleanders. The light beige tiles on the stairs and terraces are cool under the feet. One corner of the outside terrace is protected by a round wall, creating shelter even with strong sea winds. There is a large parasol for shade lovers, 12 chairs and 8 sun loungers. The outside kitchen has a fridge, 2 sinks, a grill and 2 gas rings, and is a beautiful setting for an outdoor meal. The garden and swimming pool can be lit up by remote control.

The villa has a garage, where children can play when the weather is not so good. There is a pingpong table available.

Arrival- and departure on sundays. (There is a supplement in the high season by a hire period of 1 week). Pets permitted on request.

Tips

This an ideal place for people who want to fly down, and enjoy a car free holiday. The villa is only 150 m from the sea, and a 5 minute walk from the harbour where every hour a taxi boat goes to Ste Maxime or St. Tropez. It’s only a short walk to the pretty centre of Les Issambres where you can buy fresh baguettes and other supplies.

In this villa, children of all ages are welcome.
