This beautiful Provencal detached villa has recently been renovated and offers room to a maximum of 12 people. Most suitable for two families with children. The villa has a large private swimming pool with walk in steps, several terraces and has a beautiful view of the Luberon Mountains and the Alpilles. In the vicinity you can go for lovely walks and cycle rides and the villa is within walking distance of an authentic village with a backer, butcher and grocer.
Within
The villa has recently been renovated and elegantly furnished by the Dutch owners. This large villa offers room to 12 people. The tastefully furnished living room has a fire place and open doors lead out onto one of the terraces. TV with DVD player and Dutch channels. WiFi internet available. The villa has two complete kitchens with all modern conveniences. In the house are several sitting rooms and dining tables. There are in total 7 bedrooms, all with beds of 90x200cm, there are also 4 bathrooms all with shower.
Outside
The villa is amidst olive trees in a garden of 4000m². The various terraces offer the possibility to sit outside any time of the day. The villa is most suitable for families with children, especially because of the large private swimming pool of 12x6m. There is also a ping pong table and a swing. From the house you have a wonderful view of the swimming pool, the Luberon Mountains and of the Alpilles.
Tips
Villa Lou Pénéquet is situated in the small town Cabrières d’Avignon, near the village Gordes, which has been chosen one of the most beautiful villages of France. Well known villages in the vicinity are: Roussillon, Bonnieux, Ménèrbes en Lacoste. If you want to visit larger towns, it will take you just under an hour to get to Avignon, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence en Orange. Each town is worth visiting. Nearby are also lovely cycling and hiking opportunities. The beautiful small town L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, well known for its famous antique market on Sunday morning is only 15 minutes by car is. There are also plenty of canoeing opportunities nearby.
