This 4 person’s residence is situated in Cairanne, a lovely wine district with Orange, Serguret and Vaison La Romaine close by. The residence is part of the large villa of an old wine farm where the hospitable Dutch owners also reside. There is a large swimming pool with a lovely terrace and outdoor kitchen. If required, an extra bedroom with room for two can be hired for a supplement.

Within

The living area is 100m². The living room is downstairs and has a lovely sitting area with a 3-seater sofa and 2 armchairs. There is also a dining table and a TV with satelite, wireless internet connection and CD player. For the music lovers amongst you, there is a piano. There is a Provencal kitchen with microwave, fridge, freezer and cooking range/oven.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with twin singles. Both rooms have fantastic views over the vineyards. There is also bathroom with a sink and toilet. It is possible to hire another bedroom with two seperate single beds for a supplement of € 150 per week. You enter this bedroom via one of the other bedrooms.

The bathroom with shower and toilet is downstairs, along with the washing machine. The owners have 2 dogs, which wander around the grounds. The compulsory final cleaning costs €50. The security deposit is €250. Bed linen is included, towels are not supplied.

Outside

The 1000m² grounds are totally enclosed and there is parking space for your car. The 32m² swimming pool is at your disposal for private use between 09.00 and 17.00. In front of the guest residence is a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy the surrounding nature. Another bonus is the outdoor kitchen with a large BBQ and fridge by the swimming pool. The garden has flowering oleanders and many other plants, and grass lawns. Pets are allowed on request.

The guest residence has its own entrance; the owner’s residence is situated to the right. There is a very sweet Labrador watch dog to protect the premises, and two adorable, old cats.

Tips

The village is only a 5 min walk away, with a baker, butcher and 3 restaurants. Le Clos Bellevue lies in the middle of the vineyards, so there are wine tastings throughout the area. This is a fantastic area for walking and cycling, and horses can be rented out in Cairanne. You can also visit Mont Ventoux or white water rafting. There is a 9 hole golf course in Avignon, 35 min drive away. Other villages worth visiting are Carpentras (20.min drive), and Isle sur Sorge (40.min drive), where there is a famous antiques market on Sunday mornings. If you are flying, the best airport is Marseilles (1 hour’s drive).

In this villa, children of all ages are most welcome.
