Detached villa completely on ground level. Sleeps up to 8 people. The villa is situated just outside the country village Flaux, approximately 30 km from Avignon and Nimes. The villa lies quietly in a shadowy garden of 1600 m2, with both terraces in the sun as well as in the shade. There is a private swimming pool of 11 x 5 m surrounded by roses. The villa is on less then a 10 hours drive from Utrecht (NL).

Within

The living room has two doors which open onto the terrace. There is a sitting area situated around the fireplace with a flat screen satellite television with DVD and a radio. When you sit at the large dining table you have a great view at the garden and the swimming pool. The large kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large refrigerator. In the kitchen there is a dining table with a cosy bench seat. There are 4 bedrooms. All beds have new mattresses. There are two double beds (1.60 x 2.00m), two single beds (80 x 200) and two single beds of 80 x 2.10. The extra long beds can be separated from each other. There is one bathroom with a bath tub and a double washbasin. In the second bathroom there is a large shower and a washbasin. In the hallway you will find a separate toilet. Behind the kitchen there is the scullery with a washing machine and a second toilet. There is a foldable childrens cot, a baby chair and a bath for babys. In the low season there has to be paid an extra charge for electricity. This will be settled with the guarantee deposit. There is a minimum rental period of 2 weeks in the high season.

Outside

The entirely enclosed property is situated at the end of a dead end street. Cars can be parked in the large backyard or in the large open garage, where you can also find a table-tennis table. From out of the kitchen you walk onto a shadowy terrace. On the terrace you will find a large dining table. Adjacent there is another terrace on the left. Here you can find an electric barbecue. At the right side there is a covered terrace, that can also be reached from out of the living room. On this side of the villa also lies the swimming pool with sun beds and a stone table with chairs. The swimming pool is surrounded by a fence. The fence is not in accordance with the French law, so there is also installed an alarm in the pool.

Tips

Flaux is a nice old roman city with less then 300 inhabitants and without any shops. The baker stops by on request and brings fresh bread and croissants. For the daily groceries you can go to St. Quentin-de-Poterie. A picturesque village, only ten minutes away by car. Another picturesque village, Uzes (the pearl of the Gard) has a unique market on Saturday and a lot of nice shops, bars and restaurants. The village of Uzes is only 8 km away. To go out for diner you dont have to go far. The restaurant that’s closest by is Tout Simplement. You can walk there from the villa. The owner of de Roses says this restaurant is excellent.

In in this villa, children of all ages are most welcome. The flat terrain makes this villa perfect for children to play. There is also a table tennis
