This beautiful, new Provencal villa has a quiet location on top of a hill surrounded by trees with views over the slopes of the Luberon mountain range and the picturesque villages of Roussillon and Gordes. The villa is suitable for 10 people divided over the main building and a (2 person’s) studio. Ideal for friends of families who want to holiday together in the fabulous area of Luberon.

Within

This new villa is built in Provencal style with approx 200m² living space. The main building has a 60m² living area with a sitting area with open hearth, visible from 2 sides. The dining area has a large table for 8 and an open plan luxury kitchen including stove, oven, microwave, large fridge and dishwasher. The living room has access to a large covered terrace with plenty of teak furniture (one table with 2 chairs and another with 4) so you can enjoy the pleasures of outdoor dining with views of the Luberon.

On the upper floor are three bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and sink and an individual toilet. Two rooms have a 160x200cm double bed, and the other has a 100x200cm bunk bed. Below are a completely separate bedroom with a 140x200cm double bed, and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. This room is accessible via sliding doors from its own private terrace.

About 10m from the main building on a lower level and completely separate from the main building is a separate 2 person’s studio. There is a sitting area with a 140 x 200 cm sofa bed and an open plan kitchen with fridge, electric cooking plate, microwave and coffee machine. There is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The separate studio and separate room in the main building mean that villa Marie can offer a lot of privacy within a joint holiday.

Outside

The large grounds (2500m²) are completely enclosed and accessible only via the entrance gate. The 40m² swimming pool is built at the top of the hill providing all day sun exposure and views of the Luberon mountains. There are 8 sun loungers on the terrace by the pool and there is an open pool house for shade, so you can enjoy sun, peace and nature in comfort. The pool can be lit up. There are gates so children can be kept away from the pool if necessary. There is plenty of room for parking.

Tips

In the surrounding area are lots of beautiful villages, such as Roussillon, Gordes, Bonnieux, Villars and Lourmarin. There is great hiking and cycling in the Luberon national park.

- The medieval village of Lacoste
- The tourist road to Mont-Ventoux
- The ochre rocks of Gargas and Roussillon and the spectacular panoramas
- The Saturday market and shopping streets of Apt
- The Sunday farmer’s market in Coustellet
- The charming village of Gargas with shops and Bar de la Fontaine (also doctor, chemist and baker in the centre)
