In a small community, amidst the vineyards of the Côtes du Luberon, lies Villa Bastide les Martins, within the town borders of Gordes. The villa is situated in a courtyard enclosed by high walls, here the building dating back to 1629 has survived the centuries and has been adapted conforming to the wishes of the modern time. Old and new go beautifully together here. The villa sleeps 4 people. Additionally the studio can also be rented making the villa suitable for 6 people.

Within

The villa is elegantly furnished by the Dutch owners. The living room provides everything necessary to escape from the sun in the summer. In the winter the open fire place invites you to sit and enjoy a book and a fine glass of wine. There is a cd player and a dvd player with screen. The open kitchen has all the equipment needed to familiarize yourself with the French cuisine. There is a dishwasher, fridge, oven, gas cooker and a coffee machine. In the ironing room is the washing machine, ironing board and iron. The two bedrooms are large and each room has a shower room with rain shower, washbasin and toilet. One of the bedrooms has a lovely terrace with a beautiful view of the Montagnes du Luberon. The studio is in the courtyard and can, also be rented in addition to the villa. The studio has its own sun terrace with a Jacuzzi, making the villa suitable for 6 people. The studio can not be rented separately without the villa.

The costs for renting the studio in the high season is € 650,00, in the middle season is € 500,00 in the low season € 375,00. In winter months: €250,00. Please advise on booking whether you would also like to rent the studio.

Use of Jacuzzi, the bed linen, kitchen linen and bath linen and the end of stay cleaning are included in the price. In the winter months additional heating costs of € 125,00 per week is applicable. Villa Bastide les Martins is less suitable for smaller children and guests who have difficulty walking.

Outside

The garden offers plenty of privacy and has a barbeque and several spots to either seek out or to avoid the sun. There is no swimming pool, there is, however, a Jacuzzi and an outdoor shower you can use free of charge. There are plenty of parking spaces on the square in front of the house.

Tips

The community of Gordes is renowned for being one of the most beautiful villages in France. Villa Bastide les Martins is just outside the hustle and bustle which you will find here during the Summer when tourists come here to visit the village. The ideal location from which to discover the Provence. Half an hour from the festival town Avignon and other famous places such as L´Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Lacoste, Oppède le Vieux, Lourmarin, Saignon and Roussillon are near by. The beach is approx. 45 minutes by car from the Gordes. Favorite restaurants of the owners of the villa Bastide les Martins: Le Vivier in L´Isle sur la Sorgue. Le Fournil in Bonnieux. Chez Bru in Eygalières. Domaine des Andéols in Saint Saturnin lès Apt.
