Cap d’Antibes is a picturesque peninsula on the Côte d’Azur, known for its luxurious atmosphere, crystal-clear waters, and exclusive beach clubs.
Antibes is a charming, historic town on the Côte d’Azur, located between Nice and Cannes. The old town (Vieil Antibes) is famous for its narrow streets, Provençal market, fortified sea walls, and the impressive Picasso Museum housed in the Château Grimaldi.
Things to do: Marché Provençal – a colourful morning market with local produce, held daily. Port Vauban – the largest marina in Europe, where you can admire mega-yachts. Antibes is lively during the day and ideal for strolling, enjoying lunch by the sea, and soaking up culture.
Juan-les-Pins, the western part of Antibes, is much more modern and known for its beaches, beach clubs, and vibrant atmosphere. The jet set has been coming here since the 1920s for sun, parties, and seaside cocktails. Visit the legendary Jazz à Juan festival in July – one of the oldest jazz festivals in Europe. Stroll along the boulevard overlooking the bay of Golfe-Juan and the Esterel mountains.
Popular beaches include: Plage de la Garoupe – a famous sandy beach with a small public section and several private beach clubs. Favourites include Plage Keller and Plage Joseph, both offering sunbeds and restaurants. Plage des Ondes – a local favourite with clear waters and views of the iconic "Petit Tour" tower. Ideal for snorkelling and sunset watching.
Also worth doing: a walk along the Sentier du Littoral – a coastal path offering breathtaking views and access to hidden coves.
