Hyères forms a beautiful final highlight of this coastal region. The town has an attractive old centre, palm-lined avenues, markets and excellent restaurants. Hyères is also especially well known as the gateway to the famous Îles d’Or. During a stay in this area, a boat trip to Porquerolles, Port-Cros or Le Levant is almost a must.
