The inviting and exceptionally spacious living area forms the heart of this villa. A comfortable seating area has been arranged around the fireplace—a lovely spot to relax together, even on cooler evenings. The room is elegantly furnished and equipped with modern amenities such as a television, DVD player, CD player, and, of course, Wi-Fi.

Adjoining the living area is a bright glass conservatory offering views of the garden and the surrounding landscape. From the living room, you step directly onto the covered terrace, where a large dining table with eight chairs invites you to enjoy long summer evenings dining outdoors. A high-quality gas barbecue is at your disposal for delightful evenings of grilling and roasting.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. You will find a spacious 5-burner gas stove with a wok burner, an oven, a microwave, two refrigerators, a dishwasher, and all the essentials for preparing elaborate meals. An added bonus: the villa is fitted with a water softener, ensuring the tap water is pleasantly soft—beneficial for both the taste and for doing laundry.

The villa has a total of four bedrooms: one on the ground floor and three on the first floor. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Bedroom 1, located on the ground floor, is the stylish master bedroom featuring a comfortable double bed (180x200). This room boasts a modern, luxurious en-suite bathroom (freestanding bathtub, double walk-in shower, double vanity, bidet, and toilet). The room offers direct access to a spacious private balcony with seating arrangement and sunshade.

The remaining three bedrooms are located on the first floor.

Bedroom 2, features a double bed (160x200). It has a traditional en-suite bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet, and bidet). French doors open onto a shared balcony (shared with Bedroom 3), offering a spectacular view of the surrounding area.

Bedroom 3, is furnished with two single beds (2x90x200) making it a double bedroom and has a traditional en-suite bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet, and bidet). French doors provide access to the shared balcony.

Bedroom 4, is the children's room. This cozy room features a sloping ceiling and is equipped with two single beds (90x200). Air conditioning is provided via a portable unit.

The spacious natural stone terrace is south-facing and offers beautiful, far-reaching views over the Provençal hills. The terrace is furnished with a comfortable and luxurious lounge set. Under the covered area next to the kitchen, there is a large outdoor dining table where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner al fresco.

Private swimming pool. The heated swimming pool measures 10 x 5 metres and is fitted with pool lighting, creating a particularly pleasant atmosphere in the evening. The pool can be closed with a fully automatic roller cover, providing a high level of safety for children. There is also an outdoor shower.

The pool water is kept clean and clear using an electrolysis system. As a result, the water feels slightly salty and is generally gentler on the skin and eyes than water in a traditional chlorine pool. It also remains beautifully clear. You can read more about this in our blog about saltwater swimming pools.

At the side of the villa, there is a boules court. Lower down in the garden, there are two swings for children. Access to this part of the garden can be closed off with a small gate from the pool terrace. The entire property is fitted with outdoor lighting and there is ample parking on the private grounds.

The villa is just a 10-minute walk from the beautiful village of Tourtour. Here you will find, among other things, a bakery, several restaurants and a supermarket for your daily groceries.

The villa borders directly on an extensive forested area, making it a wonderful place for nature lovers and those who enjoy an active holiday. From the immediate surroundings of the villa, you can enjoy short walks as well as longer hikes and mountain bike rides through the green hills of the Haut-Var.

Just a 10-minute walk away lies Tourtour, a particularly charming Provençal artists’ village that is listed among Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. Situated at an altitude of more than 600 metres, Tourtour is also known as “Le Village dans le Ciel de Provence”. From the village, you can enjoy beautiful views across the wooded hills of the Var. Wander through the narrow streets lined with old stone houses, fountains and small squares, visit the Romanesque church of Saint-Denis or settle down on one of the inviting terraces.

A lovely way to start the day is to walk into the village in the morning for fresh croissants and a cup of coffee. During the season, Tourtour also hosts a Provençal market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, where you can buy a variety of local products.

There is also plenty to discover in the surrounding area. Lac de Sainte-Croix is approximately 25 kilometres away and is a beautiful destination for a day by the water. Here you can swim, paddleboard, canoe, sail or hire an electric boat. The lake also forms the gateway to the impressive Gorges du Verdon, where you can hike, kayak and enjoy spectacular views over the gorge.

The surrounding villages are also well worth visiting for a typically Provençal day out. Visit Villecroze with its leafy park, waterfall and unusual cave dwellings, or Sillans-la-Cascade with its impressive waterfall. In Aups, you can enjoy charming terraces and Provençal markets; the village is also known as an important centre for black truffles. Salernes, Bauduen and Aiguines are also lovely destinations for a relaxed drive through the Provençal countryside.

If you would like to spend a day by the sea, it is also easy to head towards the Côte d’Azur from Tourtour. This allows you to combine the peace and natural beauty of Provence with a day on the Mediterranean coast.
