La Tocade

Cozy and elegant, this typical bastide combines the rustic charm of traditional Provencal living—cane furniture, zinc, teak, white walls and ceiling—with modern comfort. The spacious, airy living room is separated with a sliding glass by the covered terrace with a magnificent view of Saint-Tropez and the Mediterranean Sea. An open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. Wi-Fi is available.

La Tocade has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom is located on the first floor, offering an en-suite bathroom (with shower, bathtub and WC), a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a private roof terrace with panoramic view.

The remaining three bedrooms are located on the ground floor. Bedroom 2 has a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a small bathroom (with shower and sink). Bedroom 3 has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a bathroom (with shower, sink and WC). Bedroom 4 has two single beds (2 x 90 x 200 cm). A child's cot is available. All rooms with double beds are provided with air-conditioning.

The classy, elegant domain of Beauvallon where the villa is situated is all about privacy and calm. The house is surrounded with a lavish, beautifully landscaped Provençal garden, set within 3000 m² of grounds. You can catch a glimpse of the sea through the lush greenery as you take a walk through the lovely lawn and the mimosa trees. But it would be hard to resist the call of the extra-large pool (12 x 6 m), with its parasols and luxury sunbeds.

Between the garden and the pool, you could easily spend most of the day outdoors—and there is still more to enjoy! You could play a game or two of ping-pong or jeu de boules (there is a private court), cook something succulent on the charcoal barbecue, or simply relax on the terraces fitted out with stylish iron and teak dining furniture.

The entrance gate is remote controlled. The villa has a large garage.

The medieval village of Grimaud is a little gem of Provence. Through a maze of narrow cobblestone streets, stroll past the flower-covered façades to discover the ruins of the 11th-century castle and the church of Saint-Michel, the oldest in the area. Saint-Tropez is within easy reach. You can catch its less glitzy, more authentic side on a Saturday morning, when a colourful farmer’s market is held on the Place des Lices. Complete the local shopping experience with a few flea markets in the area. One runs on Wednesdays (until 6 P.M.) in Saint-Maxime, another one on Wednesday mornings in Cogolin, and one on Sunday mornings in Grimaud. 

You can play golf at the court of Beauvallon close to the villa (18 holes) which is only 5 mintues by car or at the court of Saint-Maxime. 

If you are traveling with children, you may want to visit the Marineland in Antibes, the Aqualand in Sainte-Maxime, several amusement parks or the zoo in Fréjus.
