The interior is modern, stylish, and above all cozy, furnished with designer furniture (e.g., Rolf Benz, Vitra Eames).

Upon entering, the high ceiling is an immediate eyecatcher, providing the villa with a sense of space (250 m² living area) and luxury. The central part of the living room features a comfy seating area. The French doors leading to the partially covered terrace complete the holiday atmosphere. Naturally, a TV (Playstation) and Wi-Fi (fiber optic) are included.

The open kitchen extends from the living area. Modern and fully equipped, it includes an induction stove, two full ovens, an American fridge with cold water and ice dispenser, a fully automatic bean coffee machine, and a dishwasher. From the living kitchen with designer dining table, there’s access to the spacious terrace. Both the living area and kitchen are air-conditioned.

The villa has a dedicated TV room with a Playstation and an XL seating area. The TV is 65 inches, providing ample viewing pleasure. There is also a library with an extensive collection of books in Dutch, English, and German, and various games.

The villa offers 4 bedrooms and 3 modern bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 on the lower floor – a convenient layout if you wish to vacation with two families. All bedrooms offer a terrace or outdoor space with seating areas.

On the first floor: Bedroom 1 has a double bed (180x200) and a lovely Jack & Jill bathroom (shower and toilet), which is also accessible from the second bedroom. From this room, you can step out onto a 'terrace' where you can enjoy the wonderful view and a morning coffee.

Bedroom 2 has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a double bed (2x90x200) if desired.

On the lower floor: Bedroom 3 has a double bed (180x200). The bathroom is en-suite (sink and shower over the tub).

Bedroom 4 is a studio, accessible only from the outside. Along with a double bed (160x200), this charming studio has a bathroom (shower and WC) and a small kitchenette equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and kettle.

Looking out over the valley of the Cagne with its green hills and the murmur of the river at the bottom of the valley, we imagine ourselves in the Swiss Alps. This while the villa is located in the hinterland of the metropolis of Nice. Looking over the valley, you can hear the river’s gentle murmur. Outside, the villa offers everything you would expect from a South of France villa: spacious terraces, a summer kitchen, and a beautiful pool. Since all bedrooms have their own terrace, the villa also provides plenty of opportunities to retreat and enjoy the sun, the view, a book, or perhaps a lovely glass of wine.

French doors from both the kitchen and living area lead to the covered terrace with a lounge set. Across from the outdoor kitchen/bar with a pizza oven is the outdoor dining table. A majestic oak tree provides desired shade during the summer months. There is also a comfortable hammock for ultimate relaxation.

We particularly love the Mediterranean garden with a variety of (pickable) exotic fruits, including oranges, mandarins, lemons, cherries, almonds, and dates.

The villa offers a private pool (10 x 3.5 m) beautifully surrounded by a teak sun deck with an umbrella and loungers. By the pool, there is also a lovely covered terrace with seating and loungers for the hottest times. Access to the pool can be secured with a gate. The water is kept clear and clean through an electrolytic pump, meaning the water feels slightly salty. Compared to a chlorinated pool, the water feels softer and is brighter in color. The pool is equipped with pool heating, which you can book optionally.

We also love the option of wading or swimming in the river Cagne's pools in the valley below, just 100 meters from the villa.

There is an 11kW electric charging station available, free of charge.

The villa is just a 10-minute drive from Place de Grand Jardin, the heart of Vence's center. The world-famous Matisse Chapel is nearby the villa. A visit to the walled artists’ village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence is also highly recommended. This beloved village is popular among artists and art lovers and features many art galleries along its charming streets. The nearby private museum Fondation Maeght is world-renowned as well.

For hikers, there are plenty of options starting right from the doorstep, including a trail over the Viaduc de la Cagne. The area is also very popular with cyclists, notably for the Col de Vence.

Within walking distance, 950 m and about a 10-minute walk, you will find a bakery, a cheese and delicatessen shop, an exclusive wine shop, a pharmacy, and a supermarket (U-Express). There is also a bus stop here with buses to Nice and Nice Airport.

Thanks to the villa’s location, you have ample opportunities for entertainment during your stay. You can reach the beach within half an hour, and a day trip to Nice, Cannes, or Monaco can easily be planned. When you return to the villa, you can enjoy the peace and magnificent views of the countryside. In short, this villa offers something for everyone – the best of both worlds!
