Provençal villa with private swimming pool just outside Chateauneuf du Pape, Provence. Wonderfully quiet location, yet 10 minutes from the centre of the famous village. Beautiful Avignon is only 20 minutes away. The villa can accommodate 12 people.

This holiday home consists of 2 parts. The original old part and the recent/new ad on part. Both parts have their own private entrance and are therefore not connected.
The original old house is characterized by thick walls and wooden beams. The main house is also shielded from direct sunlight by centuries-old trees and the thick original walls keep the house cool.
On the ground floor you will find the living room with a comfy sitting area, a traditional dining table and the spacious kitchen.
The house offers 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. In the older part of the house there are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In the extension there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both bedrooms in the extension offer air conditioning.
This layout makes the house very suitable for 2 families. On holiday together while maintaining privacy.
This country house is situated very privately in the middle of vineyards and meadows. The plot is fenced from the street side and closed off with an entrance gate. There is a separate parking lot so you can park your car out of the line of view.
The swimming pool is located almost in the middle of the plot so you can enjoy the sun all day long. it is ony a short distance from the house. The pool boasts a hard cover and there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols available. Under the covered terrace near the pool is a second dining table.
Dining table number 1 is under an overgrown pergola at the older part of the house close to the kitchen. There you will find also a comfy lounge set. The garden is completely flat and offers enough space for all kinds of activities.
100% privacy in the heart of Provence and the Rhône wine region. Only 10 minutes by car to the centre of the village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, 10 minutes to Orange, 20 minutes to the center of Avignon.
The nearest town, only a 5-minute drive from the villa, is Courthézon offering a supermarket, a bakery and basically all other necessities. The major cities of Marseille and Aix en Provence are an hour away by car.
The beach of Montpellier is a one-hour drive from the villa. Here you can find beach clubs with restaurants and sunbeds for a relaxing day by the sea.

Avignon, Uzés and Saint Remy de Provence
In a triangle located between Avignon, Arles and Salon-de-Provence surrounded by the famous rivers Rhône and Durance you can find the regional nature park of the Alpilles. This region is known for famous writers and painters, the special light and the many colours. None other than Vincent van Gogh was inspired by the Provencal landscape; he spent about three years of his life in Arles and Saint Rémy de Provence. The Papal city Avignon is very popular and has an old town centre with the lavish and enormous Palace of the Popes as center point.
