From the parking area, you walk along a gravel path lined with old stone walls and tall cypress trees to the entrance. The atmosphere of Provence is immediately tangible.
The living room is spacious and full of character, with a beautifully preserved original beamed ceiling. This charming space forms the heart of the old mill.
The living area features a comfortable sitting area with a large open fireplace. Adjacent to it is an oak dining table. Most likely, you’ll enjoy your meals outside on the terrace connected to the kitchen. Authentic features such as the old millstone and the large wooden waterwheel are wonderful reminders of the villa’s history. It’s lovely to see how the owners have transformed this property into a comfortable holiday home in the heart of Provence.
The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with a range of appliances, including a beautiful 6-burner stove, two ovens, an American fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. From the kitchen, French doors open onto a shaded patio.
The villa offers five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms are located in the main house, while three others have a separate entrance, just a few steps away.
Bedroom 1, located in the main house, features a double bed (180x200) and a spacious en-suite bathroom. French doors connect directly to the terrace at the front of the villa.
Bedroom 2, also in the main house, has a double bed (180x200) and a modern en-suite bathroom (shower, sink).
Bedroom 3 is adjacent to the main house and has its own entrance. Known as the “map room” because of the framed maps on the walls, it features a double bed (160x200) and an en-suite bathroom (shower, sink).
Bedroom 4, located in the guesthouse, has a double bed (160x200) and a lovely en-suite bathroom (shower, sink).
Bedroom 5, also in the guesthouse, is a family room with a double bed (180x200) on the ground floor and an en-suite bathroom (shower, sink). On the charming mezzanine, reached via a typical (steep) staircase, are two single beds — a favorite place for children to sleep.
Three bedrooms have double beds (180x200), and two bedrooms are furnished with two single beds each.
Last but not least, there is a separate underground playroom for children (accessible only from outside), equipped with a television, DVD player, and table football — a perfect spot to play and relax.
