La Donine

This beautiful villa provides lots of space for all guests. There is a lovely living room with 2 large sofas, an XL kitchen-dining room, a TV room, a fitness room, and 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a separate studio with a double bed and en-suite bathroom and its own kitchen facilities.

From the living room and kitchen-dining room, which are located on the first floor, you will enjoy a grand view over the Provençal hills. Large wooden beams provide plenty of warmth and atmosphere. On this level, you can also enjoy a spacious covered terrace with a large dining table directly adjacent to the kitchen.

The kitchen-dining room, a few steps below the living room, is wonderfully spacious. There is a large table with 10 seats, and next to the generous kitchen island, there is a large worktop with an induction stove. Furthermore, the kitchen is fully equipped; beautiful crockery and glassware, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge, and Nespresso machine. Washing machine and dryer are available in a separate room on the ground floor.

The villa boasts 6 bedrooms with 6 en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. There are 5 bedrooms in the main house and 1 in the studio with a separate entrance. All bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The bedrooms are comparable in style and quality; spacious, air-conditioned, the bathroom is en-suite, and there is a wardrobe in each room. The bed is a double (180x200) in 4 bedrooms, and in 1 bedroom, there are two single beds (90x200). Each bedroom offers direct access to the outside, so you can walk from each bedroom to the pool and pool house.

Bedroom 6 is located in the guest house with its own entrance. This guest house offers a spacious living/bedroom with a double bed (180x200) with a kitchenette, dining table with chairs, and a modern en-suite bathroom (shower, sink, and toilet). The Maison des Ami can be booked as an option. In the months of July and August, the villa is only available for rent including the studio.

Of course, you're here to enjoy the French sun, relaxing by the pool and al fresco lunches. Villa La Donine features a very attractive outdoor area. Beautiful sunbeds by the pool, a large covered pool house with a lovely summer kitchen (plancha, large fridge, glassware, the works).

There are several terraces, some covered, with multiple large dining tables for al fresco dining. The highlight is undoubtedly the pool house with its XL comfy lounge set, summer kitchen, and large dining table. Also charming is the covered terrace directly adjacent to the kitchen-dining room, which also features a large dining table. The view over the valley is stunning.

The pool is impressively spacious at 17 x 7 meters. The entrance is easy via a few steps at the head of the pool. Around the pool, on the sun terrace, comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas await you. There is also an outdoor shower and bathroom with shower and toilet next to the pool house.

For those who enjoy playing games, there is a Petanque court available. For the more active individuals, there is also a nice fitness-room on the level of the swimming pool. There are also mats and yoga equipment for you to do your exercises outdoors.

There is ample parking space on the property, including 3 parking spaces under a carport.

Cotignac is a very charming and colorful village, with many houses painted in beautiful ochre, yellow, orange, or beige colors, known for its authentic character with lots of restaurants and terraces under the large plane trees in the square.

The village of Cotignac is just a few minutes from the villa. The last few hundred meters to the villa may not always be suitable for low-lying cars.

Also remarkable are the cave dwellings adjacent to the village.

You are in a beautiful Provençal region with many small winding roads through stunning landscapes. Excursions to Lac St. Croix (30 minutes by car: surfing, sailing, pedal boating, swimming), Gorges du Verdon (45 minutes: beautiful canyon to explore on foot or by pedal boat, or swimming), but also to 'Le village dans le ciel' Tourtour (30 minutes away, offering a magnificent view).

Of course, the many Provençal markets or the 'vide greniers' and flea markets that take place everywhere in the summer are also very enjoyable.
