Spacious detached villa with a private swimming pool in Lorgues, Provence, with a separate entrance to the guest house. There is plenty of space for children to play, and the outdoor facilities include a pool house and a pétanque court.
The living area is generous and inviting, furnished with comfortable seating. Several French doors open onto the terrace, creating an easy indoor-outdoor flow. The dining table is extra large (XL), ideal for long, sociable meals. Adjacent to the living room is the traditional kitchen, fully equipped with a dishwasher, 4-zone induction hob and microwave.
A particular highlight is the separate TV room, featuring a Bang & Olufsen television and a wonderfully comfy sofa.
The villa offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom on the ground floor, furnished with a double bed (2x80x200). It has an en-suite bathroom with shower, double washbasin, bathtub and toilet, and offers direct access to the garden. The bedroom has air conditioning.
Bedroom 2 is on the first floor and has a double bed (160x200). It shares a bathroom (shower, washbasin and toilet) with Bedroom 3. Air conditioning is available.
Bedroom 3 is on the first floor and is a children’s bedroom with two single beds (2x90x200). It shares a bathroom (shower, washbasin and toilet) with Bedroom 2. The bedroom has air conditioning.
Bedroom 4 is a ground-floor studio with a private entrance. It includes a small living area with TV, a kitchenette, a sleeping area with a double bed (160x200), and an en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and a private toilet. Air conditioning is available here as well.
This charming and peaceful villa is set on a generous private plot at the end of a cul-de-sac. Surrounded by woodland, it offers complete tranquillity, excellent privacy and a true sense of escape.
Outdoor living takes centre stage here. A lovely covered terrace connects directly to the kitchen and living area, making it easy to move between indoors and out. The real showstoppers are the large swimming pool and the stylish pool house, complete with comfortable lounge seating, sun loungers and parasols.
The heated pool (5 x 10 m) is beautifully positioned in the superbly landscaped garden – the owners’ pride and joy. Around the pool you will find plenty of loungers and shade, and an outdoor shower for a quick, refreshing rinse between swims. At one end of the pool sits an elegant pool house with a large dining table, chairs and a toilet: the perfect base for unhurried days by the water.
The pool house is likely where you will spend most of your time. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the morning sun, a long lunch in the shade, and a convivial dinner as the sun sinks behind the hills. Several inviting seating areas are ideal for lingering with a book, a drink, or simply the sound of nature around you. XXXA generous dining table makes shared meals effortless, and the fully equipped summer kitchen turns al fresco cooking into a genuine pleasure.
A practical extra is the small, separate gym at the rear of the villa, next to the carport.
There is ample parking on the property. With its serene setting, beautiful outdoor spaces and welcoming atmosphere, this villa is a wonderful holiday retreat.
Please note: it is possible to walk to the centre of charming Lorgues, although the return walk is slightly uphill.
A short drive away is the charming centre of Lorgues, a quintessential Provençal town with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Its picturesque streets offer everything you need for a carefree stay: an excellent bakery for fresh bread and croissants, a supermarket open seven days a week, and a wide choice of welcoming cafés and quality restaurants.
Every Tuesday, Lorgues truly comes alive as the town centre transforms into the largest weekly market in the region. The streets fill with colourful stalls offering local produce, fresh vegetables, fragrant herbs, regional wines and artisanal delicacies. Food lovers should not miss Maison de la Truffe – Restaurant Bruno, famed for its truffle dishes.
Lorgues is not only full of character; it is also ideally located for exploring some of the most beautiful sights in the South of France. The spectacular Gorges du Verdon and the turquoise waters of Lac de Sainte-Croix make for an unforgettable day trip, whether you feel like swimming, boating, or simply taking in the views.
Nature lovers and active travellers are equally well catered for. A network of walking and mountain-biking trails winds through vineyards, forests and gently rolling hills. More adventurous guests can canoe or kayak on the River Argens, while those seeking peace and quiet will find plenty of idyllic picnic spots among valleys, olive groves and open countryside.
Fancy a day at the sea? In around 60 minutes you can reach the Mediterranean coast and enjoy the beaches of Sainte-Maxime, Fréjus or Saint-Raphaël.

Draguignan and Lorgues: truffles, lavender, Côtes de Provence
Around the Provençal town of Draguignan are the famous vineyards of the Côtes de Provence. The last few years many people have chosen this lovely area as their holiday destination. Especially Lorgues is popular, a typical Provencal market town with a medieval center surrounded by a beautiful landscape of pine forests, oak trees, olive groves and vineyards. Nearby are picturesque villages such as Carcès , Taradeau, Vidauban, St Antonin du Var, Les-Arcs-sur-Argens and the charming mountain village of Flayosc with several fine restaurants. In Thoronet is the famous Abbey, surrounded by lavender fields. Try also the delicious typical Provencal rosé at one of the many vineyards. Or opt for a truffle dinner at Restaurant Bruno in Lorgues.
