La Haute Bastié

You enter the villa in a spacious kitchen, which is situated on the ground floor. The kitchen's design is modern with a stainless steel countertop. By taking the stairs you reach the living room, which is located on the first floor to maximize the joy of the panoramic view. The living room is comfortably furnished with various sofas and chairs around the fireplace. A TV, without NL or BE channels, but with Apple TV and DVD together with a Sonos and a portable Bose music players are available.

There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in the Bastide. Three bedrooms are situated in the main house and one bedroom in the separate studio. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (160x200) and is located on the ground floor in the main house. Bedroom 2 (160x200) and 3 (2x80x200) are situated on the first floor.

There are three bathrooms in the main house. One en-suite bathroom is located next to the bedroom on the ground floor (Shower in bath and toilet). Both bedrooms on the first floor share the second bathroom (modern shower and WC). A third modern bathroom (walk-in shower and WC) is situated on the ground floor.

Bedroom 4 - a better word would be a suite – is located in the beautiful guesthouse. A double bed (2x80x200) and some nice seating furniture are available in the guesthouse. Also, there is a (small) bathroom with a shower and a toilet downstairs together with a small kitchen sink, 2 ring hob and fridge.

In about 5 minutes you can reach the Bastide from the village of Seillans by car. The last part of the way is your own driveway between trees and natural stone walls and terraces until you reach the Bastide. The terrace of the Bastide is covered in flowers and plants. On the terrace you will find a large dining table where you can sit and enjoy the view.

The swimming pool (10x5 m) is located 25 meters from the villa with luxury sun loungers. The pool is heated with solar energy. The unique selling point of the Bastide is the beautiful ancient façade. You will feel as you have travelled back in time.

Team VillaSud was also impressed with the charm of the house and the size of the property. Because of the exciting differences in height in the garden and the presence of various trees, the property makes a perfect playground for children. For a game of Jue de Boules a Petanquecourt is available. There is as well plenty of room to park multiple cars.

The village of Seillans is a mountain village from the 16th century. It belongs to the 152 most beautiful villages of France (with the "Plus Beaux Villages de France" mark). In Seillans there are several restaurants with cooling terraces under plane trees. Here you also find a supermarket that is open on Sundays, so you can do some shopping on the day of arrival.

Within 10 minutes you will reach several atmospheric villages. Every day there is a Provencal market somewhere. Sophisticated places like Nice, Cannes and Saint Tropez can be reached within a 1-hour drive. The Beaches in Fréjus, Saint Raphaël and Sainte Maxime are 45 minutes away. Water sports on Lac de Saint-Cassien 30 minutes. There are many hiking opportunities from the house and in the immediate area. Three vineyards are within walking distance.
