Waterfall Sillans la Cascade

    Aktief

Waterfall Sillans la Cascade, originated from a tributary of the Argens, is hidden between meadows and a forest with ancient trees. After you park the car in a nearby parking lot, you can walk through the footpath to the waterfall. The last part to the waterfall is not suitable for buggies so keep that in mind. It's a nice place for a picnic and cooling on hot days guaranteed when visiting this waterfall with a decay of more than 40 meters!

Probably the most beautiful castle in the Var! This castle from the 11th century was fully restored in the 17th century. The vineyards are located between the three villages Villecroze, Flayosc and Tourtour. The unique location of this vineyard provides protection from the wind and is ideally positioned for the sun. The grapes on this domain are handpicked. This winery combines tradition with the latest insights, making it possible to produce quality wines that are highly regarded in many countries.

    Chateau du Grand Jas

    Sightseeing

This wine domain has been owned by the same family since 1896. The fifth generation now manages the domain. Olivier Forni combines two qualities which characterize his own person as well as the wine he produces (AOP Côtes de Provence): contemporary but authentic Provençaals! The bottle (and website) of its wine clearly also delivers this signal: quality wine in a nice modern bottle! You can taste (and buy) the wine at the domain.

    Marché aux truffes Aups

    Boodschappen

The truffle market in Aups is on every Thursday morning in the period from late november until the end of February (sometimes until mid March). On the square in front of the Town Hall of Aups appear the tables, the scales and of course the baskets of truffles. All the baskets are carefully covered with a tea towel to prevent dehydration. And then...wait for the customers!
