Through a long and majestic lane with planets you arrive at a beautiful bastide dating back to 1830. The bastide stands on a 300 hectare site, of which 200 hectares of forest and 72 ha of vineyards. The vineyard earlier belonged to the Grimaldi family. In addition to wine tastings you can also go for sporting activities such as a mountain bike trail and a trip through the woods on a quad! Enthusiasts can indulge themselves at the flea market in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. It is one of the most famous Brocante markets in France! With many vendors, you have a choice of antiques, tables, crystal and many other items. Be there early! Every Saturday from 07:00 - 13:30.

Chateau de Berne has 112 hectares of vineyards where they make their widely acclaimed AOC Côtes de Provence Chateau de Berne. It's really worth going here if you like wine and good food. You can taste wine - if you like in combination with lunch. They also have a beautiful garden with theater setting, the stage is like a floating platform in a pond with numerous water lilies. It is therefore obvious that activities are organized here; their website provides up-to-date information. You can really spend a day off the visit to this wine chateau!

Unfortunately, it sometimes rains in the South of France. But never mind, there is a beautiful shopping center in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, near Nice airport. Go for a lovely time of indoor shopping, before you know the sun shines again. Fashion, sports, Interior, Galeries Lafayette, restaurants, covered terraces and much more. And, with sea views!

This beautiful shopping center is a good addition for a day in Nice. Shop till you drop, go see a movie, grab a bite to eat and the (rainy) day is over! Polygone is located in Cagnes sur Mer, 10 minutes from Nice Airport.

On this well known square in the old town of Nice (Vieux Nice) you can enjoy (every Monday morning) a colorful Brocante market. Here you will find the most beautiful China, silver cutlery, paintings etc. On all other days there is a regional market with typical Mediterranean products such as olives, fish and shellfish and eggplants. Nicetoile shopping centre is thé Department store of Nice and has more than 100 shops and restaurants. There is something for everyone. Done shopping? Grab a bite to eat.

Rue Massena is located right in the Centre. This cosy street has a mix of nice shops, like the French fashion chain Sudexpress, Pain du Sucre and shoe store San Marina.

You might not expect it, but the best antique and brocante shops are in the port area of Nice. Cosy strolling along the more than 100 shops.

Last April we went to Nice for a day and we happened to walk into this nice interior store. How impressed we were! Beautiful furniture, books and posters; every corner of this store has been thought through. Really a store where you unconsciously spend quite a long time browsing around.
