    Through a long and majestic lane with planets you arrive at a beautiful bastide dating back to 1830. The bastide stands on a 300 hectare site, of which 200 hectares of forest and 72 ha of vineyards. The vineyard earlier belonged to the Grimaldi family. In addition to wine tastings you can also go for sporting activities such as a mountain bike trail and a trip through the woods on a quad! More information about this is available on their website.

    Tour de l'Horloge

    If you are in Draguignan, do not forget to visit the Tour de l'Horloge! This tower offers you a beautiful view over Draguignan and the surrounding Provencal landscape after you have completely climbed it. The tower was built in 1662 and was a symbol of power for Draguignan at that time.

    In the heart of the VAR department, between Flayosc and Draguignan, this mill is still in operation. They specialize in the production and sale of (extra-quartz) olive oil. The mill has been served since 1936, from father to son, by the Rovera family. The current owner is France's oldest miller. To visit this mill, make an appointment.

    Le Dolmen de la Pierre de la Fée

    These dolmen are the biggest hunebed of the Provence. It consists of three vertical plates of 2.20-2.40 meters, which support a vertical plate of about one meter length. The weight is about 60 tonnes.

    Le Thoronet abbey

    This abbey is located 4 kilometers from the village of Le Thoronet and 22 kilometers from Draguignan. The abbey was founded in 1146 by monks of the Notre-Dame-de-Florièges Monastery, which was near Tourtour. The abbey with adjacent cloister is considered to be a highlight of the Romanesque architecture in Provence. In 1791 the last monks left the abbey. In 1854 the former abbey was bought by the French government, with the aim of restoring the abandoned abbey. The abbey is now open to public for a fee. You can walk around by yourself, or with a guide.

    Vineyard Chateau de Berne

    Chateau de Berne has 112 hectares of vineyards where they make their widely acclaimed AOC Côtes de Provence Chateau de Berne. It's really worth going here if you like wine and good food. You can taste wine - if you like in combination with lunch. They also have a beautiful garden with theater setting, the stage is like a floating platform in a pond with numerous water lilies. It is therefore obvious that activities are organized here; their website provides up-to-date information. You can really spend a day off the visit to this wine chateau!
