Taxe de Séjour: Working Method Cogolin Terre Mer

Need registration?

  • As a landlord, you are obliged to notify the municipality of Sainte Maxime that you are renting out. This is a so-called ''declarationmeubledetourisme'' to be done at the town hall using form CERFA 14004*04. This can be downloaded from https://www.formulaires.service-public.fr/gf/cerfa_14004.do. If you fill this in and send it to taxedesejour@cogolin.fr, you will receive a signed version back.
  • In this municipality there is NO obligation to request a 13-digit number via declaloc.fr.

Declaration Tourist Tax

More information about reporting the tourist tax as well as insight into the current rates can be found on the web page;  https://www.cogolin.fr/vie-economique/taxe-de-sejour/

Tip 1: Do you rent out exclusively through VillaSud?

Let your municipality know! Send an attestation sur l’honneur to the municipality/commune with the message that you rent out exclusively through VillaSud. After this, as a landlord, you will no longer receive requests to file a tourist tax return.

Tip 2: Have your villa classified!

It is a small effort to have your villa classified. In that case, your tenants pay a lower rate to TdS. And you also benefit from tax advantages when paying Income Tax on your rental income. You can find more information on this subject on our Classification information page.
