1. Unique properties
We have over 200 exceptional South of France villas in our portfolio, and we keep adding new ones (you can sign up to our newsletter to stay updated). It’s a curated collection of truly unique holiday homes, and we can vouch for each of them personally: we only offer properties that we saw for ourselves and loved.
Our villas come in different sizes and styles — from charming rustic bastides to sleek modern architect houses. Some are great for a fun family stay, others suggest a secluded romantic retreat, a golfer’s dream, or a perfect holiday for a tennis lover. Some villas are tucked away among the hills of Provence, while others are a stone’s throw away from the sandy beaches and glossy resorts of the Cote d’Azur.
The one thing they have in common? These lavishly furnished, impeccably finished residences blend sophisticated luxury with a sense of warm hospitality. In every villa, we look for that little special something that will take your stay from just great to simply unforgettable.
Every villa comes with a standard set of services for a comfortable stay. In addition, we offer additional services for many properties: beds made up for your arrival, a filled fridge, a welcome package. A villa description always specifies if it’s the case.
2. Uncompromising quality
Every year, we return to the South of France to review our current villas and to scout for new properties. We personally visit and carefully inspect every new villa before including it in our portfolio. We actually have a scrupulous process for that. In a nutshell, our must-have criteria for a villa are tasteful decoration, flawless comfort (great beds and bathrooms, equipped kitchen, lounge and dining furniture ...), private swimming pool, gorgeous views and great location.
Every property that is made the cut is closely monitored during the holiday season. Based on the feedback from the guests, we may pay an additional visit to check the on-site service or the cleanliness. Any slightest issue is immediately communicated to the owner. If it’s not fixed within a reasonable delay, the property will be removed from our collection. Not that it happens often! But just to make it clear: as a guest, you won’t have any unpleasant surprises upon arrival.
Of course, when planning a dream holiday, you choose with your eyes. We are intransigent about truthful visuals. Every picture and video on our website are tasks either by our team or by tried and trusted photographers. This said, occasionally we can add a property to our collection without having tasks pictures ourselves first — for example, if we validated it during winter months. In this case, we will temporarily use the photos provided by the owner. But we will visit the villa again as soon as possible and replace those pictures with our own.

Anton and Jannine, the founders of VillaSud, fell in love with the South of France some twenty years ago (that’s how VillaSud actually started). Ever since, we’ve accumulated an unrivalled knowledge of the area. We only offer villas in destinations we know inside out: Provence, Luberon, Vaucluse, Cote d’Azur.
As our travel experts visit them time and time again, they’re able to develop an expertise that goes hand in hand with personal connection. At the villa, you will be in the trusted hands of an attentive and thoughtful caretaker. Our back office counselors will also remain available for any last-minute requests.
Many of our customers travel as a family, bringing several generations together. We understand the different needs of every guest, from the youngest children to the most seasoned travelers. We have a large collection of child-friendly villas, and we’re always transparent about the safety and comfort options of each property.

VillaSud is a company registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (registration number 52931978). Our physical address is Prins Hendriklaan 34, 3701 CP Zeist, The Netherlands.
VillaSud is certified by Thuiswinkel — the Dutch national e-commerce association ensuring safe and trustworthy digital purchases. The Thuiswinkel Waarborg certificate is supported by the Dutch Consumers’ Association and integrated into an EU-wide network through the Ecommerce Europe association. It guarantees that the certified companies meet strict requirements in terms of legislation and regulations, safety and financial stability. (Please note: per Article 8.3.a of the Dutch Thuiswinkel’s General Terms and Conditions, the services of VillaSud are exempt from the right of withdrawal stipulated in Article 6 of these Terms and Conditions).
VillaSud is a member of the SGR Foundation (Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden) — a Dutch non-profit organization that provides additional financial insurance to travelers. In case of any financial impediment concerning your paid booking with us, your booking is insured. (Please note that SGR insurance doesn’t cover any material damage and/or any damage to your personal belongings).
We personally visit every villa we offer, and you can find most of our villas on Google Maps. We have a rigorous selection process — only the best properties make the cut.

6. Guaranteed Prices
The prices you see on our website when you book are guaranteed. You know exactly what you will pay: the final amount appears on your online quote. It includes our standard service package, local tourist taxes, and all mandatory costs for additional services you may choose (pool heating, extra cleaning during your stay, etc.).
The prices are displayed in Euros, and there are no currency surcharges if exchange rates change.
