The beaches and beach clubs are literally right across the street from the villa. The entrance to the long and beautiful public beach of Les Issambres is only 150 m from the villa. Not only is it very child friendly but it also offers beach bars, restaurants, beach clubs and a variety of water sports, all within walking distance.

The supermarket (Spar) is only a 650-meter walk from the villa, and the harbour is only a 100 m more. San Peire, in the village of Les Issambres, is only a 15-min walk / 1.500 m away. In San Peire you will find another supermarket, a butcher, fishmonger, two bakeries, pharmacy, cash machines, post and police as well as some clothing, interior and tourist shops. 

You can reach the larger supermarkets in Sainte-Maxime in 15 minutes by car. Marché Couvert, the fresh produce market in Sainte-Maxime, is really good with fish, meat, cheese, vegetables, etc. Carrefour Market in Sainte-Maxime is great, and Carrefour Hyper in Sainte-Maxime has absolutely everything.

From Nice airport it normally takes an hour to drive to Les Issambres.

Les Issambres and Sainte Maxime are known for their vast and beautiful sandy beaches. There are several good restaurants in Les Issambres. A local favorite is 'Le Provençal/Les Muriers' with its beautiful terrace under the plane trees. In the restaurant Cap Mail you have a beautiful view of the sea while eating fresh fish dishes. And most of all, Kalmos "Chic Caribbean K'fe" is our local restaurant right across the street.

Boat service to St. Tropez

These boats are absolutely superb and offer you "two cities for the price of one". The traffic around the bay can be a challenge so the boat service is really valuable. Departure from Sainte-Maxime is every 15 min. The trip only takes 15 minutes and costs 8-10 euros. Easy to park at the port. Departure from Les Issambres harbour, a 5-min walk from the house, is every hour during summer and takes 30 min.
